The Remos GX is a two-seat, high-wing, single engine ultralight aircraft made in full composite construction and powered by a single
Rotax 912/912S engine. The Remos GX is built by Remos AG of Pasewalk. The aircraft is supplied as a kit for amateur construction or
complete and ready-to-fly. The Remos story began in a German farmhouse in the early 1990s. In 2006, the factory moved to Pasewalk, North
of Berlin, where Remos is able to build up to 200 aircraft a year. The Remos GX is a derivate of the earlier G-3 and was intended as an
alternative of the Cessna 152. Thanks to its light weight and sleek lines (it is entirely of carbon-fiber), the GX archieves good
performance. With low noise levels and the ability to tow, it is aimed not only at privat pilots but also at schools and clubs.
Folding wings help save storage space. By 2011, a further development: the GXNXT was presented; in the US this version is called
GXnXES. The ICAO Aircraft Type Designator for the Remos GX is GX |
