OE-FMF Diamond DA62MPP c/n 62.105 - GeoFly - Flugplatz Emden in Germany - 19 April 2023 Flugplatz Emden (EDWE)

The Diamond DA62 is a light, twin-engine, 7-seater, jet fuel powered transport aircraft produced by Diamond Aircraft Industries and first announced in March 2012. The aircraft builds on the strengths of the twin piston Diamond DA42, with increased performance, payload, cabin volume and utility. The prototype, designated Model DA52, first flew on 3 April 2012 after six months of development. In June 2014 it was announced the production aircraft would be designated the DA62. The DA62 series is powered by two Austro Engine 180hp AE330 turbocharged common-rail injected 2.0 liter jet fuel engines with single power lever control. The 3 blade MT hydraulic constant speed propellers feature advanced blade geometry for efficient performance and low noise. The DA62 MPP is a surveillance aircraft, based on the offering increased performance, space and capability. The fully composite DA62 MPP features tracking and sensor technology, building on Diamond's experience with the Diamond DA42 MPP, the earlier built Diamond surveillance aircraft. The Diamond DA62 is built in Austria and Canada. In January 2023, it was announced that Aeromot will assemble DA62s in Brazil from kits supplied by Diamond Aircraft Canada, starting in 2025. The intention is to ramp-up production to 50 aircraft per year. Today, more than 150 Diamond DA62 are built.
The ICAO Aircraft Type Designator for the Diamond DA62 MPP is DA62.

The 2019-built Diamond DA62 MPP s/n 62.105 was registered OE-FMF in Austria with GeoFly, Magdeburg, Germany. Diamond DA62 MPP OE-FMF is one of three Diamond DA62 MPP aircraft operated by GeoFly.
On 19 April 2023, Diamond DA62 MPP OE-FMF operated by GeoFly was seen at Flugplatz Emden (EDWE) in Germany.
