The Cirrus Design SR20 Generation 2 is an all-composite four-seater single-engined low-wing aircraft, standard equipped with the
Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS). This safety system lowers the entire aircraft
to the ground in extreme emergencies. The original Cirrus SR20 was introduced in 1999, followed by the SR22 in 2001 and the turbocharged SR22T in 2010.
Over 6000 Cirrus aircraft are delivered to customers all over the world.
On 17 June 2005, Cirrus Design SR20-G2 s/n 1517 was registered N200EU. The 2005-built aircraft was delivered out of Duluth, Minnesota
in the USA via Groningen Airport Eelde in the Netherlands to Barcelona in Spain. On 13 April 2016, the IFR-certified aircraft was seen at
Groningen Airport Eelde.
