The AutoGyro Calidus is a single rotor fully-enclosed tandem twin autogyro, with tricycle landing gear with wheel pants and a four-cylinder, air and liquid-cooled, four-stroke, dual-ignition 100 hp Rotax 912 engine or turbocharged 115 hp Rotax 914 engine in pusher configuration. The Calidus was introduced in 2009 and is developed and built by AutoGyro GmbH at Hildesheim aerodrome in Germany. On 6 April 2010, the Calidus, a so called Ultraleicht Tragschrauber, received the German UL type certification from the DULV (German Microlight Association), six and a half years after the MT-03 received the precious piece of paper. For the rotorsystem of the Calidus the proven extruded anodised aluminium NACA 8H12 rotor built by Air Copter is used. The aluminium rotorblades are available in different lengths: diameter 6,50m - 8,40m. The Calidus has a composite 3-blades propeller. Fitted with a Rotax 912 or 914, and with the option of a variable-pitch propellor, a cruise speed of 160km/h is possible, with a range of is possible of 800km.

On 12 August 2018, AutoGyro Calidus D-MIKH was seen with 'Fliegmituns.de' titles at Flugplatz Marl-Loemühle in Germany.
