The Cirrus Design SR22 GTS is a four-seater aircraft, standard equipped with the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS). This safety system lowers the entire aircraft to the ground in extreme emergencies. Top of the Cirrus range is the Cirrus SR22 turbo model in GTS trim, equipped with a enhanced vision system (EVS), a sophisticated dual-wavelength instrument that offers both infrared and synthetic vision. The third-generation Cirrus SR22 GTS, launced at AirVenture 2010, has a 315 hp twin-turbo intercooled Continental TSIO-550-K engine. General Enterprises b.v., the European Distribution Centre of Cirrus Design Corp., is situated at Groningen Airport Eelde in the Netherlands. Over 8000 of the all-composite SR20, SR22 and turbocharged SR22T aircraft are built.

The 2023-built Cirrus Design SR22 GTS G6 s/n 9262 was registered N52PK in the USA with Cirrus Design Corp., Duluth, MN. On 20 June 2023, Cirrus Design SR22 GTS G6 '9000th Limited Edition' N52PK arrived on delivery on behalf of Cirrus sales & Service at Groningen Airport Eelde (EHGG). The next day, the aircraft departed to Schönhagen airfield (EDAZ). On 27 June 2023, registration N52PK was cancelled as exported to Germany where the aicraft was registered D-EXMN.
On 13 May 2025, Cirrus Design SR22 GTS G6 D-EXMN was seen at Mönchengladbach Airport (EDNL/MGL).
